I'm not really sure why but I think it could be fun. My Web site isn't static any more as you're aware. I built my own weblog out of a few things and so I've been able - to some extent - to share what is going on in my life. However, it does have its limitations. I can only post when I have time and there seemed to be a moment in my life where there wasn't any time so I barely posted but maybe once every two weeks. I have gotten better, though. But I think the biggest thing was that while things at work were going CrAzY I couldn't share that with everyone because Communist China was watching me from afar and I was told to remove any content on my site that might hurt the company. Well, as we all know the company collapsed and I was left in the dark. It seems that I was right after all.

So the long and short of it is I do want to share what's going on in my life - but I'm going to be selective with whom I share what information with. You following me? So, from now on aside from piddly comments that I'll still make on the home page of my Web site most of my messages will come via my message boards. And each message board has an access level. If you don't have the proper access, trust me you'll know, then you won't be able to see or post messages in that group. And I think I covered all my bases with it. You can't backdoor you're way into a message board.

If this is making any sense to you then suggest you take the next step which is of course an application process. If not then just go back. You see, you have to APPLY to get an account. I'm doing this for a number or reasons. The biggest is just so that I know who's here and who's not. I'm like the bouncer - I say who comes in and I keep those that I want out - out. Or at least I can have control over what they can see and do. I'm only going to ask for a couple of things up front :: first and last name, email address, where you're from, what you'd like your UserID to be (it's what folks in the message boards will know you as) and WHY I should let you in. It's that easy. If I like you and know you then it'll give you a better access level. Otherwise, expect a 1 - general access. I don't care - whatever.
